Continuous Charge is an in-track charging solution for overhead lifting systems that allows the TX600 Motor to recharge automatically anywhere along the rail.
By eliminating reliance on fixed charging points or manual return routines, Continuous Charge supports higher equipment availability, reduced downtime, and more consistent use in demanding care environments.
Supplied as a complete solution, including a TX600 Constant Charge hoist (Includes conductive trolley set) with power port end caps, and in-rail charging strip.
Designed to reduce operational risk
In conventional charging systems, lifts must be returned to a designated charging location to replenish battery power. In practice, this step can be missed, particularly in high-acuity or fast-paced clinical settings, increasing the risk of uncharged equipment when it is most needed.
Continuous Charge removes this dependency by delivering power directly through the rail system. Whenever the lift is parked on the rail, charging occurs automatically, without additional steps or reliance on user behavior. This significantly reduces the likelihood of battery depletion and the downstream disruption it can cause.
Supporting consistent, compliant use
Equipment availability plays a critical role in whether safe patient handling systems are used as intended. When lifts are unavailable due to charging issues, caregivers may revert to manual handling or alternative transfer methods, increasing risk for both staff and patients.
By ensuring lifts remain charged as part of normal use, Continuous Charge supports compliance with safe patient handling protocols and helps facilities maintain consistent standards of care, without introducing new workflows or training burden.
Well suited to demanding care environments
Continuous Charge is particularly valuable in settings where:
- Lift utilization is high
- Multiple caregivers share equipment
- Rooms are reconfigured or repurposed frequently
- Downtime, delays, or failed transfers are unacceptable
These conditions are common across acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, and specialty units, where reliability and predictability are essential to daily operations.
